When I was a child, my home was filled with several silver pieces made by my maternal grandfather. There were bowls, little boxes, trays, and pendants, all handmade. Today, a portrait of my grandfather hangs in my workshop—a pyrographed leather artwork by an artist from Córdoba, showing him working with silver. My paternal grandfather also worked with metal, creating works in wrought iron and stainless steel. This family heritage inspired me to follow the path of jewelry making.
I took my first steps in jewelry making at the age of 18 in my hometown, Villa General Belgrano, in 1990. I started with a local artisan who taught me how to solder, set stones, and shape metal. I learned various production techniques, as well as everything involved in creating a wearable object. From the very beginning, I realized I had a natural connection with metal, and it was then that I discovered my calling. But I knew there was much more to learn, and with that dream, I set out into the world.
I began in Frankfurt, Germany, working in customer service at the main branch of Christ Juweliere und Uhrmacher, a jewelry chain with locations throughout Germany and Switzerland. At the same time, I attended seminars where I learned to string pearl necklaces and arrange display windows. I also gained knowledge about precious and semi-precious stones, learning about their characteristics, properties, and how to work with them—knowledge that I still use today and that helps me excel in my work. After a year in Germany, I moved to Valenza, a city in northern Italy known as the hub of Italian jewelry manufacturing, where I spent four years acquiring further expertise. During the day, I worked in a jewelry manufacturing workshop for various global Italian companies (such as Giorgio Visconti, Damiani, Recarlo, among others), and at night, I studied at the Instituto Superiore d’Arte ISA, focusing on wax modeling and jewelry design. In 1998, I returned to Argentina to work at Homero Jewelry in Buenos Aires. Finally, after two years, I became independent, designing and creating my own jewelry, marking the birth of TG Unique Jewelry.
I have always been drawn to interacting with people and the world of sales. This early passion led me to pursue a career in tourism, a sector that has allowed me to combine two of my greatest interests: human connection and the opportunity to share experiences and ideas that truly resonate with people and enrich their lives. My entrepreneurial spirit has always driven me to explore new opportunities and to support projects close to my heart.
The years I spent living in Germany enriched my professional life and also allowed me to delve deeper into European culture, gaining a better understanding of the interests and values of people. Traveling and exploring different cultures is one of my great passions, and I firmly believe that every place and every person has something unique to offer.
Recently, I have discovered a new passion in the world of e-commerce, an area that presents an exciting challenge for me. I am particularly motivated by the opportunity to work alongside my great friend Tina, an extraordinarily talented designer.
Tina creates unique works of art, pieces that deserve to be recognized and admired beyond the borders of our country. My goal is to help her reach a broader audience, allowing more people to discover and appreciate her exceptional talent.
